Direct Drive Tech was invited to the Science‑Enterprise Symposium. Zhang Di, Founder of Direct Drive Tech, reported to Secretary Chan Mo‑po on the company’s embodied intelligence layout and roadmap.

On the morning of June 19, Mr. Chan Mo‑po, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, attended the Science‑Enterprise Symposium hosted by Huatai Securities and held in‑depth exchanges with more than ten tech‑entrepreneurs.

As a representative enterprise in the embodied‑intelligence sector, Direct Drive Tech (Beijing)was invited to the event. Zhang Di, Founder and CEO of Direct Drive Tech, reported on industry and corporate developments to Secretary Chan Mo‑po and other participating officials. During the meeting, Zhang Di elaborated on the current status, technological iteration trends and market application prospects of the embodied‑robot industry. He also highlighted the company’s core‑technology layout, R&D innovation roadmap and industrialization vision for embodied robots.

Secretary Chan Mo‑po shared the latest overview of Hong Kong’s economy and key priorities under the 15th Five‑Year Plan, in particular the development of the Four Centres and One High‑Ground initiative, alongside strategies for integrated advancement of education, technology, talent and industries. He encouraged tech‑innovative enterprises to leverage Hong Kong’s international platform as their first stop and support for global expansion. The HKSAR Government has set up a dedicated task force to assemble cross‑sector resources to support enterprises going global.

Secretary Chan Mo‑po noted at the symposium that China is advancing high‑level self‑reliance in science and technology and has taken global lead in many innovation‑driven sectors. As leading mainland‑based enterprises accelerate innovation and expand internationally, access to global capital markets is essential. This enables companies to capitalize on positive investor sentiment toward China’s tech growth, align corporate governance with international standards and best practices, gain wider investor recognition and raise global visibility. He further encouraged enterprises to consider listing in Hong Kong, establishing regional headquarters for international operations and cross‑border treasury centres. By capitalizing on Hong Kong’s premium financial and professional services as well as preferential tax regimes, enterprises can scale up operations, optimize global supply‑chain arrangements and navigate geopolitical challenges.
