As we celebrate the 25th anniversary of this historic return, we are thrilled to mark this exciting moment alongside the Xingtian robot!

Over the past 25 years, Hong Kong has continuously integrated itself into the broader national development strategy, achieving globally recognized success in the economic, educational, and cultural spheres. In recent years, as one of the core cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), Hong Kong has actively embraced technological innovation and vigorously developed high-tech industries, leveraging technological advancements to drive the digital era.

In 2018, while pursuing further studies at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Zhang Di, the founder of Direct Drive Tech, asked a pivotal question: "Why must motors have reducers?" This sparked his research into direct-drive motor technology and led to the founding of Dongguan Direct Drive Tech Co., Ltd.

In 2019, against the backdrop of the national "Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation" initiative, Zhang Di led his team to put down roots in the Greater Bay Area and set up operations at the Songshan Lake International Robotics Base in Dongguan. Immersed in Songshan Lake's vibrant atmosphere of technological innovation, Direct Drive Tech experienced rapid growth. Within the following two years, the company successfully completed the R&D for its M6, M15, and M11 series motors, and created its signature technological calling card—the "Diablo" robot.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland. A reporter from Voice of the Greater Bay Area recently visited the Songshan Lake International Robotics Base in Dongguan. As an outstanding representative of the robotics enterprises in Songshan Lake, Benmo Technology was featured on CCTV-4's Live Greater Bay Area program, where we shared our latest R&D achievement, the "Diablo" robot, as well as the inspiring journey behind our growth.

Looking ahead, Direct Drive Tech will continue to use the Greater Bay Area as its strategic foothold.
